Pattaya, and its neighbouring beaches of Jomtien and Naklua, have undergone a total make-over in the past 10 years. With the exception of Bangkok no other region of Thailand has received more infra-structure investment than Pattaya.

To put the icing on the cake the location of Bangkok’s new Suvarnabhumi Airport is just an hour away, by the fast new 3 lane motorway, placing Pattaya at the door step of Thailand’s most important gateway.

It is no surprise that so many expatriates have chosen the eastern seaboard (as the area has become known) to invest in a holiday or permanent home. There are 30 world class golf courses, 8 international schools, dozens of large department stores and European branded hyper-marts, excellent restaurants; not to mention the natural attractions and charms of the local Thai culture. Further to the east are new emerging destinations such as Koh Chang, Koh Kood and Koh Mak.
